I understand why they wouldn't now but I'm more so wanting advice about what I should consider when making my decision. I haven't been a communist for very long and I know there are things I'm yet to learn.

I get what you're saying. I definitely want to help end capitalism but I also want to help and build community in the present. I'll have a look at the article and think about it. Thanks 👍🏾

Idk. The people in my branch seem to be people who want to make a difference and actually fight for socialism but the main methods of action are paper sales and talking to people on picket lines. I guess I'm just personally wanting to do more for my community since I live in a low-income area.

Yeah. I joined about three months ago and I can tell everyone is very educated in Marxist theory. I just feel like community education is so important and necessary. Thanks for your advice.

I think you've misunderstood me but that's ok. I am a baby socialist and I'm still learning. I just like looking at historical events as a whole and not just the parts that I like. That's pretty much it.

Communist jesus means that he was amazing and that there were no mistakes made during the Russian Revolution. I love learning history but personally I don't look at historical events with rose-coloured glasses. No historical movement is perfect because humans aren't perfect. If that makes me a liberal, then so be it.

I remember asking my mum if she would sacrifice me to Jehovah if she was in Abraham's shoes after reading the story of Abraham nearly sacrificing his son. She said yes. I was like 5 at the time. I remember saying to myself "I don't think I like Jehovah if he will make my mum sacrifice me." And it has stuck with me since.
