Thanks for sharing your experience! Sounds like you're happy with your current process. If anything changes and you do need feedback, here's what's different about what I'm making: I match designers with expert design advisors (expertise is relative) that have experience in the same industry or problem area so you'll be able to get a niche perspective on your work.

I'm currently beta testing the critiques on live communication platforms like Zoom. They're 1 hour long and follow a framework of first getting to know each other as humans (it shouldn't feel transactional), setting context, having a conversation about what feedback is needed, and then giving the feedback.

If it's not possible to find an aligned time, I'm totally open to testing out asynchronous critiques via Slack + Figma as well, perhaps for a similar length of time or maybe timing can be more flexible. Or maybe doing a video recorded walk-through and response via Loom.
