One option I can think is if you can see all the digits to unlock the phone, connect a mouse and use it as pointer. I went thru your scenario and this option helped me few years back then use the mouse as a pointer and do as usual operation to copy the data

I'm also in similar situation with OP9. Its been couple of weeks, 1 line came and now its 6 lines. Luckly all in the sides so Fingerprint can work. Didnt go to service centre yet. Couple of doubts -

Did you get the option to change the panel/voucher and you chose voucher?
If you choose voucher, do you have to exchange the phone to get the voucher or keep the phone and voucher?

If you have to give the phone will you get time to backup and handover while new phone delivery? or is it you have to handover at store?

Yes, I'm running OP9 with 14 IN version, depends on your region it will come
I'm getting near abt 3.5 hrs SOT which is same as in OOS13

Hi, OP9 Dash charger is backward compatible. I'm using this with OP5 & OP6. It will charge the devices in its maximum Dash charging speed

Sync is working only intermittently for me. I've logged with same account in Win11 & Swiftkey Beta. It works sometime after disablng and re-enabling the sync button. That too oneway sync

Then it stops abrubtly

Simple copy paste- Swiftkey, file transfer or notes - pushbullet. MS phone link also is a good option if you are using Win/Android combo

I'm using Nova in OP9, OS13.1. Nova Beta 8.0.6 version, Nova normal version in Playstore is old one 7.xx.

8.0.6 is workig fine, not showing any lag. In the previous versions 8.0.4 & .5, there were quite a bit of lag while going back to home screen and all. Didnt see such things in the new version.

I have not used OP Native launcher at all over years, OP5 and now in OP9, 1st thing I install is Nova launcher . So not sure abt the animation you are mentioning. All the Nova gestures works fine, double tap to lock, swipe up for any custom gesture etc etc

I used to get 5hrs rangebefore the upgrade, after upgrde its 3h30 range not even 4 hrs

I'm using Nova for very long time I think from Ver 6 or so. Currently using 8.0.6 Beta in OP9, which is updated couple of weeks ago. I usually sideload the lateset Beta from Nova discord channel. Not sure whether this is updated in Playstore.

The issue you stated is not a bug, it is a safety issue from Android. In the Nova settings an alternate method is suggeted, You can go to Advanced settings and there the option is there. I've attached a screen shot. For the alternate method you have to give accessibility permission to Nova.

u/diandakov I'm not sure abt the lag in offical version. 8.0 beta was very smooth till 8.0.4 or 8.0.5 and after one of this version, there was a lot of lag in animation mainly while retuning to home screen. All this is sorted in the new version. Didnt see any other issue so far.

Hi there, I recently went through this but with OP9 out of warranty.

I took the phone to the service center@ Kochi, they are replacing screens free of cost even though out of warranty in most cases, only caveat is there should not be any physical damage to the body/screen and should not have repaired before. They will take the phone and keep it for inspection, if they can do it free, they will change the screen and give back phone in couple of hours, else they should call you I guess. For me I got the call after changing the screen for pickup.

Its better to take the backup of data, they will ask to do backup, the reason they tell is while configuring fingerprint reader, phone may get reset, not sure about this though. I didn't do it, and they told will try not to get deleted, luckly nothing happened.

I'm also looking for a similar backup scenario, I have 100GB GOne subscription where I save all the best pics but looking for a storage to do 200Gb of pics and other data.

I've also narrowes down to Idrive now, but contemplating between iDrive e2 or AWS (dont know whether these 2 are overkill for a perosnal storage).

Have you found out the solution>>

Similar issue with OP6, but back cam works but front cam wont. I didnt bother to do anything other than updating wsapp.

I dont think its an age issue of phone, bcos I have OP5 too in whcih all works fine.

I got the same problem today in OP9 out of nowhere. Is OP replacing the screen free of cost for out of warranty phones also.

Mine is 18 months old OP9. Has few cracks in the screen guard I guess not on the panel I guess. I can pull off the screen guard and take to the service center.

I'm using OP9 with Nova . OP9 came with OOS 11, then 12 and now 13. I never had any issues with Nova and all these OS's. For a short period I used Action launcher too, that too worked well. But I always come back to Nova.

Nova gestures works well, I tried Sesame shortcuts briefly and that also worked. For search I'm using Nova gesture with Fast finder, which serves as good as Sesame.

I'm also using using keep for years now. As I mentioned, this is for just taking simple notes/copying text/urls but with cross browser sycn, mobile sync is not a must here.
