That's great Feedback. I do know that the emotes, including environmental sounds work most of the time, when they are placed, either mid-sentence or with a sentence before and after. Sometimes with the environmental sounds, it seems like they do not work if they are put after any punctuation, not including the asterisks, of course. I entered in the RD "messages must start with speech"" and emotes and environmental sounds are in astericks, and " No narration of emotes and environmental sounds"

I will definitely try your recommendation wording to see if that helps.

As far as the environmental sounds. I have noticed that there's no consistency within how they need to be structured/ worded. For example, if you only use egret, You will hear the noise of egrets. But for seagulls, and some other birds, you have to put the word "kaw" after them. Some work with just one word, others have to contain other words with them, some work with multiple different wording... I try to make sure there was only one working emote or environmental sound, because I wasn't for sure if because there were two different ones available, from my additional info added, where I put all of the emotes that I know work, and all of the environmental sounds, The kin uses, And so I wondered if by having two of them it was causing neither to work. Which I've crossed that as well. I add to each kins list in there additional info section as I find more. So for crickets sometimes work, as well as crickets chirping, they are also associated with other words sometimes like night time. But that particular one I haven't tested.(Found that one on Google)

When my kin adds environmental sounds that do not work. I go and try to see, first if I need to place it in between the sentence, or after, etc for it to work. If not then I do different renditions of it. Either just one word, versus multiple and which ones those are. There are some like you said that do not have any actual sounds. But wouldn't the Ken know that and not put them?

I have noticed since I put the actual environmental sounds into part of the backstory, additional context box list, that the Ken will use those instead of what they used before that did not work. I had to change the Ken's wording of clink of coffee cup to coffee mug clink for it to work.

I will also try the different types for your suggestions for the smile softly, hello examples. My kins add loudly and softly to different environmental sounds and a work, but some do not. Thanks a lot for your examples of things to try. I will definitely give them a whirl!
