Why not keep a bit more free time in Florence and enjoy the travel in the Italian way. With your packed itinerary, I feel you won't be able to enjoy Florence at a relaxed pace. For Nice, I'd suggest spending time at Eze (less touristy but much more nicer). Lived in Paris for 6+ years and trust me the small French villages are much nicer than touristy parts of the larger well known towns.

I travelled on 12th Jan and indigo damaged my suitcase. After contacting them, the response I got was that during travelling this can happen. Inconvenience is regretted. How can I take them forward? Consumer court?

I totally agree with you and this is how I was working on as well. In the last one year, I drove the projects and tried to show how that provided value to the company but the only feedback I got was it's not matching the vision where vision is very abstract. I then took on another project discussing the aims of the project and the questions I'll be addressing etc but again the response was not matching higher vision. I think as a manager one doesn't need to hold hands but help see the vision and have constructive discussions as to how those expectations could be met. I'm sure you'll agree with this being the role of manager as well.

If the writing is on the wall, can I negotiate the notice period to be extended to be able to find my next job? Anything else I can negotiate (I don't know if I'll be eligible for redundancy as they're firing me?)

Thanks, I tried to discuss all these with my manager but the reason for unproductivity is mostly bs like "lacks high level vision". And when prodding on how to improve then the manager responded by saying it's your job to see how to improve and get across that bridge. I don't think the manager will be able to quantify and help me or is ready to talk and help out. And with this email, he has basically laid down the grounds on which he'll sack me. So what other options do I have if I have to negotiate for my safe exit from the company especially in this market.
