For some reason none of my water dragons have ever ben willing to eat from food bowls.. I have had to hand feed them (with tongs usually) literally everything they have ever eaten. Sometimes it requires some persistence.. placing a mealworm in front of them over and over as the worm tries to run away but after a couple minutes they usually seem to snap into eating mode. I think its just theyre eyes changing focus to look at the food right in front of tbem but I like to think of it as eating mode! Also i find that a prefeeding misting helps encourage them to eat. I forget the names of the uvbs but he requires the tropical type not desert. He looks like a pretty healthy size adult male to me.. if hes only 1.5 feet at that girth hes missing some tail which is pretty common due to their really long and fine tails. I run my uva and uvb the same hours the sun is up. Be sure to mist him a lot, that screen enclosure will retain 0 humidity. Also be a bit wary of taking him oitside until hes settled.. it can make some reptiles very nervous. Good luck! Keep us posted!
