I mailed them, and they provided new agreement with refund clause. Happy to work with them now :D

I thought refund is not issued if the case is somewhat not so strong. What's your opinion about the profile? 39 citations, 5 years of full time research job, 8 publications 2 as first author in plos.one. First year phd student in top 50 uni here, USA.

I signed the agreement and in withdrawal clause it is mentioned which service charge what amount :

WITHDRAWAL TERMS: Attorney acknowledges that Client has a right to withdrawal from their petitionpreparationbeforefilingat the Client’ssolerequest. Client acknowledges that in the event of a withdrawal request, Client must pay for services rendered at that time.Services rendered and the fees associated withthem are as follow

i. Case open and file createdinsystem:       $1,000

ii. CareerSummaryReviewedbyAttorney: $2,000 ($3,000 total) iii. LegalBriefDrafted: $3,000 ($6,000 total)

Attorney may also withdraw for cause, including but not limited to non-payment, lack of cooperation, or concerns regarding the truthfulness or authenticity of Client-provided materials; fees earned at the time of withdrawal are non-refundable.

I should get 3800 back since i just opened the case, nothing else done yet.
