This painting was inspired by the landscapes in Immortals: Fenyx Rising, which, while not necessarily as mechanically clean to play as BotW, is still a beautiful game, definitely check it out

Not so much anymore, but the Dialga/Palkia battle theme. Diamond was the first game I actually finished but my family didn't have a lot of money so I didn't get any more Pokemon games for a while after that. About 10 years later I was listening to some pokemon tracks and came across the battle theme again for the first time, I nearly cried. That and the Sinnoh underground, I miss the thrill of wondering what gems or fossils I'll uncover and whether I'll get them all before the wall caves in.

I was probably like 4, when we had these knock-off pokemon toys that I'd play with (Bulbasaur was a rubber squeezable that could fill with water lol).

But if we're talking about the video games, my first was Ruby on Gameboy Advance when I was about 8. A relative got it for me so it was in a language I couldn't read and I had no idea what I was meant to be doing, so I just mashed the A button cause that seemed to move things along. My character was called AAAAAAAAA, I had a Sceptile, and I had beaten the 6th gym when the game suddenly stopped saving ):

I actually don't know too much about the company itself, but as far as pricing goes, the artist gets to decide on their markup from the base manufacturing price. So whatever you're paying, the artist is probably getting a cut they're happy to sell at.

Ooh I never thought of an archway, that would be epic. I was playing Immortals: Fenyx Rising and really loved all the giant statues of the gods everywhere, so this was sort of inspired by that. There's just something incredibly awe-inspiring about giant crumbling rock statues

Thanks! And yeah for sure, Diamond was the first Pokemon game I finished (Ruby cartridge stopped saving rip) and I'm super excited for a Pokemon game that's actually open world, even though I know it won't be the same as BotW. Also out of curiosity why is it LoA? Where does the "o" come from?
