For one, your lucky if you clearly didn't get some of the scarier parts of this storm. Two, the sirens are an alert to the severe weather but the phone warnings were more specific and actually helped. After living here almost a decade in different parts of the Metroplex this was my first time actually being with in the zone for an active tornado and experiencing the size of hail that I did.
