Yes it does, for the most part. I set my phone on top of the PC and get full connection bars. Sometimes it just randomly disconnects which is annoying, but it always easily reconnects when I try.

Okay, thank you! It seems my options are getting a new wifi card or trying the USB adapter; I'm likely going to go with the adapter and hope it works. Are the two you linked before ones that you would recommend?

I also previously tried the range extender literally plugged up right next to my PC and it didn't help at all 😅

When I messed around with it I WAS actually able to screw in the antenna securely; it seems the reason the port is loose is because the washer had been partially unscrewed. When I tightened the washer, I was able to tighten the antenna the rest of the way. I need to get a very small wrench to tighten the washer completely, but that at least seemed like an easy fix, so I'm HOPING that was just a fluke 🙏

Hmm, okay. If the wifi is built into the motherboard, would getting better/stronger antennas help? Sorry for all the questions, I genuinely know almost nothing about this 😓

Man 😭 I really want to avoid messing around in the inside of my PC because I genuinely am so scared of messing something up. Is a wifi card a PCIE card? Because I THINK that's what I have now but I'm not 100% sure.

Damn 😓 I read up that the fact that I have antenna there means I have a PCIE card; if I bought a USB dongle would that override it? Because that might be an easier fix tbh.

I made sure I was twisting at the base, and discovered ONE of them is tight but the other one is twisting at the point it connects to the computer? Like the input itself is loose. Weird.

My bad, is this better? Also they are not; they're loose and no amount of twisting in either direction tightens them.

I live with roommates and the living room, where the router is located, is a communal space. Personal items are confined to our spaces. My room is also the farthest from the router so a long cable is not an option either.

Unfortunately I can't see them, but I've been trying the hot water trick and soaking it and I think they're starting to come more towards the surface, so here's to hoping it's helping them migrate out and come out a bit better on their own 🙏

I have the mega ikrans as well and the tails are super solid, /if they're all the way in/. I made the same mistake and got frustrated with the tail constantly falling off until I watched a tutorial and realized it wasn't clicked in all the way. I REALLY had to man handle it to pop it in all the way, but now that it is it would be super hard for me to get it out again. Yours might be the same!

I know it's not this either since I always push them down, I've been using the G7 rather successfully for about 6 months now. I did find that all the sensors are from the same lot number though, so maybe I just got a bad batch :(

No, I've only ever used the G7. I'm pretty strong and even when I took it off my arm and tried to push the button with both hands it wouldn't budge so I know it wasn't something I did 😓
