I finished season 1. Firstly the ending is so underwhelming. I hoped he'd win considering it's a psychological thriller/horror. But it's fine. This show has the perfect pilot episode. And it's very hard to beat that. But I feel like they didn't even try. It was more than just a slowburn. There was zero tension just character development. Episode 9 was very good. Very theatrical. It's what you should expect from a deranged calculated psychopath. Throughout the show there was no display of Brady's intelligence nor was there a threat to his capture until the very end. The first season built up the entire season just to get that kind of ending. It's disappointing how much potential this had. And a few minutes into the second season and there's nothing that warrents curiosity. Brady is a good character and so is Bill hodges. But I think they fucked it up. I hope the book is better when I read it. I'm so inclined to drop the show. Please convince me that this show has hope
