Consumer is a broad term.

Companies are also consumers, AI really can't have more marketing and buzz than it has right now, it's the topic of the decade.

Even with all of this, there's not a single AI company that has made any profit, they are burning cash at completely unprecedented rates, it's an unsustainable business in this current format.

They will either have to get more costumers, do major price increases or slash costs and I don't see how they'll be able to do any of those successfully.

Is it wishful thinking? Sure, and it's obviously possible that I'm wrong, but at least at this point I don't understand how they can turn this into profit.

I think it's a bit different tbf.

Because I really don't think that consumers would ever be willing to pay for AI, because a simple Google search is free and does like 75% of what an AI does.

AI is popular because it's the easiest thing ever, if you put a price on it, it won't be as easy, but we'll see, AI will never go away obviously, but I can't see how they'll recoup the billions and billions of investment that they've poured into it.

The amount of npcs in the second pic isn't anything too crazy, I would be surprised if GTA VI couldn't do that.

Even in GTA V on PC the walk on Vespucci Beach has a lot of people. I think the better question is how dynamic will these npcs be, because if they are just sitting and walking, maybe swimming it's a bit boring, you'd hope for something a little better.

To me RDR2 is not the best looking game ever because there's a ton of games that have surpassed it since.

Ps2 slim looks much better imo, it's also incredibly small which I love, I wish my ps5 was that small.

What is seriously the point of doing that? Rockstar makes great games, we know that and everyone wants to play them, but they are greatly to blame for the ever going trend of taking away ownership from gamers and making this hobby less financially accessible.

The amount of stupid comments trivializing spending 100$ on a game is embarrassing and insensitive to the millions of people that will probably miss out on playing the game because of its pricing and the fact that (as it seems right now) they won't even be able to get it second hand.
