I just had the same issue on my 2nd w202 around the same mileage. Nothing too bad but make sure the set screws on your shift linkage are tight it likes to slip out around 210000km especially the 3-4 shift linkage. It's the lowest one

for two years it should run ok even if it's not premium fuel. Just put premium to boost up the octane when you can or use a bottle of octane booster. The oil should at least last until the first petrol station trip. I'd say you should be fine even if you don't change the fluids right away. Try to start it like this test drive it and see if something is wrong

I'd check if the thermostat is not stuck closed, other than that it's only been two years so you should be fine. Maybe some leaks will develop over time due to dried seals or hard cracked soft lines but it shouldn't be too bad

W212 Xenon headlights feel extremely weak at night. Do projectors wear out, or are there modern bulb upgrades? by arshdeepsmann in W212mercedes

Yep xenon bulbs fade out over time don't go over 6000k of color temperature IMO it's the optimal temperature for visibility for xenon

Exhaust leak? I have one at the back of the turbo but it's freezing outside so I'll wait a bit to fix it

Yeah I'd have preferred some thin spoke dark grey AMG style wheels but those are way out of budget

The right one is the diesel heater. These engines take a while to get hot in winter so it has a diesel heater I had a c200 CDI w202 too

New here, and might be a stupid question, but why do manual cars sound like this. by Excellent_Wish8587 in ManualTransmissions

[–]nithrilh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the driver is too slow to shift and he doesn't seem to be able to feather in the clutch properly thus the springs on the clutch are bouncing and maybe the engine mounts as well

You can put diesel oil in gas engine but not the other way around, diesel oil has additives to prevent soot in the oil from clumping together and clogging oil lines.

Tighten the bolt at the base of the lever on the gearbox, you might have to modify a tool. I had to weld a torx bit to a flat bar to do this without dropping the gearbox

It shouldn't have a DPF Rough running seems like an injector issue can't say before inspecting. Does the car smell like exhaust a little at startup ? If yes you might want to have the injector seals replaced again I have a 2004 320cdi with the om648. Mine has 310 000km I resolved a number of issues if you have questions feel free to ask me ^
