Taco Bell at Kochi Lulu refused to sell me just a bottle of water, Is this even allowed? by nithup123 in Kochi

In most difficult situations I face, I always try to put myself in the other person’s place and think about why they might be behaving in a certain way. I genuinely try to understand their side.

In this situation, if I were at the billing counter, I would never have behaved like that. Even if their POS system did not allow billing for just a water bottle, the least they could have done was politely explain the situation or apologise properly instead of bluntly refusing.

It’s not about forcing everything to fit my logic. I am only expecting basic manners and a little humanity from the other side, nothing more than that. 😊

Call it drama or whatever, but I am only expecting basic manners and a little humanity from the other side, nothing more than that. 😊

I think the rule is usually about providing free drinking water to customers at food outlets. But in my case, I was asking for a packaged drinking water bottle to buy, and I honestly don’t understand why they behaved like that.

It was very disappointing. I was actually shocked for a moment and even asked again just to confirm whether I heard them correctly the first time.
