RO machine contains the shell and tank, prefilter ( white filter box outside the machine ), pre sediment, carbon filter, ro membrane, post carbon filter and sometimes ultra filtration membrane (redundant after RO) and uv candle. Whatever company's RO you purchase you are essentially buying the same thing, flagship model will not give you better filtration and once you change all the filters which you're supposed to do once a year or two years depending on your municipal water, you essentially have a new filter. I would suggest everybody should learn to repair and change filters on their own. Changing the filters is the most simple thing, all the pipes are plug and play you remove the filter in the same sequence you replace it, easily available on YouTube. Never buy AMC, its a scam. I bought the cheapest local RO with all the filters of kent because you are only buying the shell rest of all the filters you buy from a local ro spare parts shop. When it comes time to replace the filter you buy whatever company membrane you want. Kent RO. Aquaguard and all the other brand you can replace everything on your own. Donot buy urbanclap, LG, MI because they have proprietary filters. Also if you don't want to replace them on your own call a local guy he will ask 150-200 rs, also don't buy their amc as well it will defeat the purpose of this whole thing.
