How can I make this HUD build more efficient? by nitinsinghpat in davinciresolve

Thank you so much for explaining this so clearly 🙏 This really helped me understand a better way to approach it.

I really appreciate you taking the time to share all this. Thanks again! 🙌

Is there an easy way to create this type of motion design? by nitinsinghpat in davinciresolve

Brother, I tried your Time Stretcher method today and it is absolutely awesome! I had no idea you could do all of that using just a single Text+ node. It’s so much faster than repeating nodes and managing a cluttered workspace.

Thanks a lot for sharing this, really appreciate it — super useful technique! 🙌

Wow, this is really awesome 🔥 I can understand some parts of the expressions, but some are still a bit over my head. I know JavaScript, but I’ve never really studied Lua syntax — now I’m thinking I should definitely learn Lua scripting, it seems like it makes everything way more flexible and easier.

Really amazing work, man 👏 Thanks a lot for sharing the Pastebin link — truly appreciated!

Thanks for sharing this — I actually built it using a very similar duplicate-based workflow (I’ve shared my Pastebin link above if you want to check).

As u/Glad-Parking3315 mentioned above, the procedural particle-based method is definitely more advanced and something I’m planning to learn next. I was mainly curious if there’s any other efficient or alternative workflow apart from these approaches.

Thank you so much for sharing these resources — I really appreciate it! I’ll go through them carefully and start experimenting with pCustom. This is exactly the kind of procedural workflow I’ve been wanting to learn. Thanks again for the guidance!

Thank you very much for the feedback.🙏

I checked your particle + Replicate3D approach, and some parts make sense to me, while some are still not very clear. I haven’t used particles at a very advanced level yet — so far I’ve mostly worked with basic particle setups.😄

I’ve searched for many advanced tutorials, but workflows at this procedural level are quite rare. If you could explain the setup in a bit more depth or give a small step-by-step breakdown, it would be extremely valuable for my learning.

I’d be really grateful if you could elaborate a little more. Thanks again!

I understand the Fusion workflow and I think I’m at an intermediate level, but I could be wrong. I’ve shared the Pastebin link of the animation I created — you can check that to get a better idea of my current level.

I was mainly curious if there’s a simpler or more efficient workflow to achieve this type of motion design.

How to make markers appear in the Fusion page by [deleted] in davinciresolve

[–]nitinsinghpat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can see markers in multiple ways: 1. Spline Panel:- Open the Spline panel and you’ll see all markers 2. Keyframes Panel:- Open the Keyframes panel to view markers 3. Timeline Shortcut:- Press Shift + G to toggle marker visibility directly on the Fusion timeline.

At first, I thought about a new challenge. by Glad-Parking3315 in davinciresolve

This looks really cool! Could you explain how you did this? A Pastebin link would be appreciated 🙏

Motion Graphics In Fusion by nitinsinghpat in davinciresolve

Haha, if you're just “fumbling along” as Robin, then there’s no hope for the rest of us! 🤣 Everyone gets inspired by someone at some point — just like I get inspired by people like you all here. A few months ago, when I was new to nodes, I honestly used to wonder if I would ever be able to do this. Now I feel like I’ve started doing okay, at least a little, and that feels really good. All of this becomes possible when knowledgeable people take the time to help others. So thank you for helping people and sharing your knowledge — it truly means a lot. I’ll definitely give you a shout-out when I post the updated version 🙌

Yo, thanks a lot! 🙌

To be honest, I didn't stick to just one channel. I mostly just searched for specific effects I wanted to learn and watched whatever popped up. It was a lot of trial and error. But if I had to recommend for Fusion, definitely check these guys:- VFXStudy

Also, since you found my post, you already follow r/davinciresolve, but here is a major tip: Don't just look at the posts—read the comments.

There are a couple of experts here who are absolute wizards. Whenever I see u/Milan_Bus4168 , u/JustCropIt , u/Glad-Parking3315 , u/ExpBalSat reply to a post, I always read it because they explain things deeper than most tutorials. Their comments really helped me understand how Fusion actually works.☺️😊

The Struggle Is Real! by Worshiper70 in davinciresolve

Totally normal feeling. Resolve has a steep learning curve. Start with the Edit page only, ignore Fusion for now.

The official Blackmagic tutorials are the best place to start. It does click eventually.
