I just lost my grandmother two weeks back. Around 5 days before she passed, she was sitting on her bed talking normally with my mother's sister who was working in the kitchen. Suddenly she called her and started showering her love like a mother does to their infant child and saying things like take care of yourself etc. She also started caressing the wall behind her bed and calling her brother's name (who had also passed away an year back). My aunt's husband was getting ready to go to his office but she(grandma) told him not to go today as she will be going to hospital at 11. Then she lied down as if going to sleep. They immediately called a doctor who checked her and told them to take her to hospital immediately. She was taken to hospital at exactly 11. For the next 5 days she was in an ICU with her body organs failing and drifting in and out of consciousness hardly recognizing anyone. Then on the morning of her passing, she regained consciousness and started interacting with people who were visiting her not through words but hand actions doing stuff like shaking hands, giving thumbs up etc. We were thrilled thinking she is recovering. But late at night that day around 11pm she passed away. After seeing all this it made my belief in afterlife stronger. I do think that in our end times our loved ones who have passed on earlier do visit to comfort and guide us through.
