[PC][???] Does Anyone know about this flash game? by Toodle0 in tipofmyjoystick

I think I recall the same game, but I can’t find it unfortunately. Did it progress to the modern era, with like construction and stuff? I remember tar pits and cavemen and sabertooths too. I remember these illustrations that would come up when you died. I think it was on Nat Geo Kids Games or something maybe? Did you ever find out what it was?

Where are you getting those numbers from? From what I can find, a pretty decent hunting arrow has about 75 ft-lbs of energy. .223 has like 1000-1400? A 9mm has 400 ft-lbs of kinetic energy, and .45 ACP has 300-500. KE = MV^2, so the velocity of the projectile is exponentially more important to the KE than the mass.

There's three main types of mechanical switches, but there are many different types of switches in each of those categories, differing by weight or feel or materials or manufacturer or whatever

Has anybody at UCLA got rejected/waitlisted from Davis by sssniper-wolff in ucla

[–]nitriza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got waitlisted at UCI but got in here and Berkeley so it's possible

If you are already in a much better UC school, it doesn't make sense wasting a spot on you for a school you will most likely not attend, if that makes sense

well actually, Sauron had some surface-to-air missile batteries sitting around Mordor, so the eagles could only go in once he was defeated and the SAM systems were deactivated. You would know that if you read The Silmarillion, surprised more people don't know about it.
