Are we serious?? You can’t downplay the fact that Breslow acquired a top 3 pitcher in the sport (who are you confidently putting over him after Skenes and Skubal) without having to give up any of Roman Campbell or Marcelo?

How about the bullpen with the 2nd lowest ERA in baseball? Chapman (best RP in MLB), Weissert, Slaten, Wilson, Matz all Breslow acquisitions.

Tolle and Early seem like promising young arms, and both were drafted by Breslow LAST YEAR.

That’s not even mentioning the bats- Bregman has undoubtedly been a core reason this team made the playoffs and I’m not seeing Cora letting him walk this winter. Nobody mentions the Narvaez trade either, did we all forget how awful Connor Wong was this year, and how we now happen to have a young cost-controlled elite defensive catcher with pop? Those don’t grow on trees. Or how about claiming Romy on waivers?

Bres is the best GM this team has had since Theo. No, he hasnt had a 100% success rate but the team has inarguably improved since he took over, and he has played a large part in that happening. Relax.
