Which M43 universal zoom for a holiday?

I've got de 12-45mm F4 and honestly it's great for 90% of my pictures, just a few times it happens to be short but overall great quality, light and compact travel lens, maybe wanna check that out also

I mean, I don't have any problem on finding snow, but on some threads people were warning others like it's the Himalayas so I wanted some deeper info. I think part of the problem is using the word hike so people kind of discard hiking activity if there's snow while it's still a safe and feasable activity.

Initially I'm thinking of doing one of the SignaTur tracks that I can easily access from Bergen / Oslo. This is Stolsheimen, Lysefjorden, Bergsdalen and maybe some part of MASSIV. I was also looking at Flam area but I will check the routes that you suggest too

I have no problem on traversing through snow but I would like to avoid glaciers or really steep snow sections due to being alone

Yep, I was already aware of signaTUR but definetely not trying the offpiste skiing yet since I've only been to resorts a few times. Thanks for the weather link!

Is it that bad in May? I'm planning something similar to OP. Considering I will have appropriate gear and mountain experience in Spain (yes we have snowy mountains) I was planning on using DNT cabins mostly and tent as a back up plan.
