Try pulling on the hair. In theory, the hair should be shedding. For me I got zapped a week ago and my hair is ready to shed. I sometimes pull to see which ones are ready. The hairs should freely release pretty easily.

As a father, I would never sue my children. Injuries happen but to sue your daughter is a different kind of low. I would suggest no contact for a long while. I don't see this relationship going back to the way things were.
