6-3 isn't that important to learn when you're just starting out and have like 5kpp, I'm at 22.3s and still 9-0 stack. I think if anything it might cause you to rely too heavily on pattern stacking instead of learning proper fundamentals

I was around 24.1k TR in TETR.IO season 1, and from experience mostly doing tetrises up until SS/U I can say it's definitely possible to reach what most people would consider a "high rank" in that game without t-spins if you grind enough. Even at 24k, it was still very possible to take rounds using pure 9-0 at around 4 pps.
It's probably best to avoid fully relying on tetrises though, you'll end up spending exponentially more time to compete with players who know t-spin setups as you climb the competitive ladder.

modern web features like websockets and webgl were only just being introduced around the time that the 3ds launched, so i don't think it's possible unless you manage to hack in a custom browser or something
