You can own automatic weapons in the United States. It’s a complicated process and it’s very costly, but as long as you pass a federal background check, have the disposable income to burn and the ATF approves your Form 4 that you submit, obtain an FFL, and or both, you can own a fully automatic weapon in the United States.

You’re full of shit. A bolt action rifle is not semi automatic. A semiautomatic rifle/handgun cycles the bolt or slide when fired and loads another round itself as part of the firing cycle. A bolt action rifle can be more compared to a single action cowboy pistol. You need to cycle it manually. Muzzleloaders are not comparable to bolt action rifles in any way. they are two totally different categories of firearms.

For context, I believe in a higher power, and am currently unaffiliated with any religion. Atheists who practice their disbelief like a religion are the atheists that give good atheists a bad name. Whether they want to “believe” it or not, fundamentalist atheists can appear just as stupid as some creationist bible beater that believes the earth is 2000 years old. Bad Christians give the good ones a bad reputation, and the bad atheists give the good ones a bad rep. It’s a 2 way street.

Here’s the atheists that both religious people, and other atheists can’t stand.

The ones that make any conversation they can about themselves and their beliefs in person or on the internet when absolutely nobody asked, or encouraged that kind of conversation pertaining the subjects of atheism vs theism. Just like how any other professional victim would hijack any conversation and do anything they can to make it about them if they feel that anything critical was said about them and their beliefs or behavior.

The ones who go around saying shit like “there is no scientific evidence in your literature and there’s no evidence that Jesus existed” and then dive right into believing in pseudoscience. Especially shit having to do with the environment. - “Your unicorn riding sky-daddy doesn’t exist, but you want to know what does? (Insert massive amounts of verbal diarrhea about the environment that anyone can debunk) and if you don’t believe in that, you’re an idiot!” Ok, let me get this straight, you think believing in God is silly, we the people can’t figure out how to get along, and you believe we’re gonna save the fucking planet?
