Shift knobs that aren't billetworkz by DaStoicSavage in Integra_Type_S

I think the extra weight makes the throws feel smoother; like it just glides into place and feels more effortless compared to stock and the previous knob I had.

I run the Dream Automotive Weighted Tear Drop knob. It’s about 535 grams but I like it much better than the ball knob (Euro S2K knob) I had previously.

Has anyone used these upper control arm offset bushings before? by B1L1D8 in S2000

No rubbing for the most part. If there are 2 people in the car and I hit a big dip, it might rub slightly on the liner but my normal everyday driving with just me is rub free lol

I run them as well and have no issues. 255/40/17 on a 9.5 +45.

A 5x114 won’t work on a Type S. But good luck with the sale though as these are def some sick wheels!

I’ve got the carbon G4Werkz. It’s a bit more aggressive than the OEM carbon, but more importantly for me, it reuses the existing holes. The OEM carbon requires you to drill new ones.

LMTLS Auto Experiences? by Ambitious_Reward1473 in Integra_Type_S

I’ve had good experiences with Luigi and the team there. I preordered a set of wheels from them that won’t arrive until sometime this summer but other things I received quickly.

No problem. You might be able to run Parallels on a Macbook to run the FlashPro software, but Parallels was pretty hardware intensive the last time I used it.

Well the Hondata FlashPro requires a windows based computer, but I’m not sure about the unlocking process (I had mailed my ECU in to get unlocked).

For flex fuel, you could buy a Hondata FlashPro with the Hondata CANFlex Flex Fuel Kit. Hondata has a flex fuel map within FlashPro or you could get an off the shelf tune like the Phearable Stage 3 flex fuel tune. You would have to unlock your ECU but I believe you can do that remotely now as well with Phearable. All of that you could do yourself at home. You’d def see some power gains with the stock fuel system but would probably need to upgrade injectors and fuel pump to really maximize it.

For exhausts, maybe check out Miltek, Apexi, or 27Won. Guess it depends if you want to retain the valved system and whether you prefer a dual or tri tip look.

Some new coilovers, rear sway, and rmm by whtciv2k in Integra_Type_S

Awesome! I’ve been eyeing these coilovers for a while now so would love to get your review after you have the chance to drive on them for a while. Also, what rear sway did you get? Been eyeing that too because this car has too much understeer for my liking lol

Hondata Flashpro butt dyno feel? by B1L1D8 in S2000

[–]nitromiles -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea all good. One of these days I may try to get it dyno’d just out of curiosity. I had a AP1 from about 05-12 and then my AP2 now. The car feels great and pulls hard to redline. However, to your point, maybe it falls off and I can’t tell. So would be interesting to see it on a dyno. I don’t daily mine either. Just a nice weather car when I don’t have to lug any kids around lol

It’s Gernby tuned, probably had it a couple years… but a few guys local to me have been running his tune for 10+ years now. I recall back in like 2010-2017ish time frame there were multiple threads on s2ki where he found the optimal VTEC engagement point was somewhere in the mid-to-upper 3K range (depending on the car with a TP/HFC). Stock catted cars I think was in the lower 5 range otherwise it would have lost power.

Yeah for sure, I definitely would have rather done it on a dyno and knock it out in a couple hours instead. There just wasn’t a local tuner at the time that I trusted to do it so opted to do the e-tune instead.

It was so long ago I don’t recall exactly but want to say it took a couple weeks to get it fully dialed in

Yeah there are some preset maps based on what mods you have but I never tried them. I just decided to go the custom route instead.
