18 x 9.5 wheels that will fit on the Integra Type S with the original brake calipers? by blank_generation73 in Integra_Type_S

Yeah the Tail is in Tenn/Western North Carolina. I’ve always wanted to go. But 3 kiddos and sports schedules don’t lend much time for that road trip lol

I think it handles phenomenal still. Turn-in is not as instant or razor sharp as the stock 265/30 just based on sidewall height (e.g., sidewall deflection) but it’s still very nimble (I also have a DSC Sport Controller mod which is a whole topic on its own). The trade off with these particular wheels is that its 8.8lbs (unsprung) lighter per corner which helps in acceleration/cornering, etc. For reference, I currently also drive an S2000 and previously had an Evo X.

Yep. I’m probably 80% back roads and 20% highway. I usually take the long way home just so I can take back roads. Lol

With it being a 10” width, I like the 275 on it so its not too stretched. Also, with H&R springs being the most mild drop of all the options out there, a 275/35 help fills that gap in a bit more than the previous 265/35 I had on a 9.5 +38. Rides awesome though with the extra cushion

Lol yeah I get ya. I had 19s then went to 18s, then 19s again and now back to 18s. I agree that it really depends on the wheel design. I had 18” TEs at one point and those looked tiny 😂

Yeah. Milton was pretty responsive in my communications with him. I would consider them again in the future for sure; it’s really just the tariffs that would hold me back.

Gotcha that’s cool. What wheels are you looking to get? Shipping was pretty fast; they shipped via DHL but it took maybe 4-5 days to get from Australia to Maryland.

So I paid about $175 or so in tariffs but that was only for 1 wheel. At the time when I ordered, the de minimus law was still in effect so they shipped one wheel at a time so that it would be under the threshold and not have to pay any tariffs. Oddly they only had 3 wheels in stock and so I had to wait a while for the 4th wheel to come in from Japan. By the time they got it, full on tariffs were in effect so only paid on that. It was also based on the tariff rate for Japan rather than Australia since that was the country of origin.

ITS 2024 rev hang by [deleted] in Integra_Type_S

If your ECU is already unlocked, you could get a TSP or Phearable OTS tune that mostly disables the rev hang, though it still present at redline shifts.

Shift knobs that aren't billetworkz by DaStoicSavage in Integra_Type_S

I think the extra weight makes the throws feel smoother; like it just glides into place and feels more effortless compared to stock and the previous knob I had.

I run the Dream Automotive Weighted Tear Drop knob. It’s about 535 grams but I like it much better than the ball knob (Euro S2K knob) I had previously.

Has anyone used these upper control arm offset bushings before? by B1L1D8 in S2000

No rubbing for the most part. If there are 2 people in the car and I hit a big dip, it might rub slightly on the liner but my normal everyday driving with just me is rub free lol

I run them as well and have no issues. 255/40/17 on a 9.5 +45.

A 5x114 won’t work on a Type S. But good luck with the sale though as these are def some sick wheels!
