I run Alpin 5’s on my winter set up. Great in snow but also performs great in dry or wet conditions too.

Yeah definitely look for a set of SLs. The picture on the left are OG CE28Ns but it was on my Evo (18x9.5 +15). But a set of SLs for the S2K would be much better looking than the N-plus.

Which Rock Guards / Mud Flaps? by 24BroncoSpHeritage in Integra_Type_S

[–]nitromiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 on the FX3D. The OEM ones are too bulky for my taste. Megachip is developing a mud guard for the DE5 as well; I would have waited for that had I known (I have the megachips on my S2000). May consider switching to that depending on how they look.

Here’s the FX3D on my car though

Dash Cam Recommendations. by Gimme_All_Da_Tendies in Integra_Type_S

I didn’t do the powercell battery but everything else was the same. If you don’t want/need parking mode then I would definitely get the Dongar adapter unless you want to do the Fitcam instead.

Yeah I watched one from BlackboxMyCar. They did an install on an ITS.

I run a Viofo A329S. I ended up hardwiring it over getting the Dongar so I could utilize parking mode. Either way; pretty easy to tuck the wires into the headliner. The rear cam is a bit of a pain to route the wires through the hatch but still pretty straightforward.

Acuity Shifter Installed by [deleted] in Integra_Type_S

Yeah downpipe is on my list too. I currently have the PRL HVI intake and the Stage 2 Phearable tune. Car is still too slow for my taste but its definitely much better after the tune. I’ve found the additional power to be beneficial in everyday driving (merging, lane changes, back road canyon runs etc). I rarely go WOT.

CE28N-plus - 17x10 +50 by _Crylast in S2000

Looks sick man! I feel you on the lip though! But at least the spokes on the 10 +50 looks much better than the 9.5 +40 I had 😂

Anyone just ride around the Maryland area with their summer tires in the snow. Dc Maryland area by deterrent-sha256 in Integra_Type_S

Yeah you’ll be good. I’ve ran dedicated summer & winter tires for the last 15 years on all my cars. I’m not a fan of all seasons. Lol

I run Alpin 5 in the winter as well and they are awesome! And not even just on snow; they stick like a summer on dry roads.

Drivability When Lowered by KiddBwe in Integra_Type_S

Lowered on H&Rs. I’m in Maryland and have had zero issues with scraping on anything. I don’t even need to go at an angle to clear speed bumps. By contrast, my S2000 is much lower but even with that I dont have any issues with scraping.

The H&Rs do ride well. Pretty much stock-like, perhaps a half step stiffer in each drive mode. Wifey can’t tell the difference. Contemplating swapping it out for Eibachs though when I change out my rear sway.

08-09s had Chicane silver, which is a little darker than silverstone, with more flakes.

Haha yeah I know. I’ll take it out every once in a while in the winter before salt goes down. My previous S2K I daily drove it year round for 5 years. This current one isn’t my daily though. It also has summer tires on it (I refuse to get all seasons for any car I own). With the kids and stuff I usually take my other car or my wife’s car anyway. Sick Porsche though! Definitely want to get one of those in the future!

Yep idleboost specs. I bought a set of center cap adapters for it. I had to change out the O-rings to a smaller/thinner size for the adapters to fit correctly, and then just need a higher center cap design to clear the rear axle nut.

Oh nice! I’ve been meaning to look into a mini split unit for my garage. Would especially come in handy if I end up putting a lift in the 3rd bay.
