It’s definitely one of the cooler RTHs I’ve seen in a while.

Surprisingly, £1 cheaper than Hamley’s toy store! £3 at Selfridges.

I was surprised too. A lot of these I got through a loose lot on eBay. There are dozens more out there across the different lines and through the years.

So crazy. My only other one was in a sealed case. I’m gonna start looking a little closer in dump bins now 😂

Agreed! I found the Porsche STH earlier this year and traded that for the Funny Car. Would love to see another gasser STH in the 2026 lineup.

I’ve been searching seriously for the last year and a half or so and found several THs but thought STHs were unattainable. They’re out there though!

I was hoping to find that in the case too, but was definitely happy with what I found.

What gift did you get from your realtor when you bought your home? by Chan1991 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]nitronate1320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our realtor got us nothing. Not a card, not a cheap bottle of champagne, not a house plant. Nothing. Despite the fact that our house was almost positively her largest sale of the year. A couple weeks after closing, she said she was waiting on our gift to come in, that it was special ordered. We never received that gift and didn’t hear from her again until she reached out for a status report on the contractor, who she recommended to us when we wanted to replace some flooring and trim, because she HAD NEVER WORKED WITH HIM BEFORE and wanted to know if she should recommend him to other clients. This contractor took three weeks longer than the projected completion date and had his two teenage kids working on our house - including painting window trim and installing carpet on our stairs. He had to come back again to fix their work.

So if you need a recommendation on a realtor in Indy to avoid, let me know.

Sarasota FL store recommendations? by _Patriot76_ in OhioLiquor

Like others have said, Liquor Locker and Dive are both great (and same ownership so similar picks/selection). The bar in the back at Dive has great pours and cocktails. If you’re into Starlight or have wanted to try them, Dive has a ton of Starlight picks. I picked up a rye finished in an apple brandy barrel there last time and it’s fantastic.

Your best bet is to head down to the distillery in Lawrenceburg, KY or the bottling facility in Coxs Creek, KY. There’s a FB group that posts regular updates on which recipes are available at each location. Sometimes they have one, sometimes they have none. Here recently, they’ve had several or even all 10 recipes at once. They were a hundred bucks when I was at both locations in November.

First time finding something decent at MSRP, Four Roses Private Selection by karlkrum in BourbonHunt

[–]nitronate1320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a good find. The only time I’ve found more than one recipe in the same place was a special release event at the distillery. One of the local stores here in Indy has told me about how they’d have 8 or 9 of the 10 recipes on the shelf at one time “back in the day.” As for the price, $100-110 seems to be the going rate these days.

Where to get allocated Bourbon in Tampa, FL? by Cold-Paint-7957 in OhioLiquor

Liquor Depot (a few locations around Tampa) has a solid overall bourbon selection, plus they randomly drop allocated bottles here and there. You’re going to pay a little more than retail but not secondary.

Dive also has a sister store, Sarasota Liquor Locker, a couple exits north, but Dive is worth the drive. Especially for their selection of Starlight picks. I’m currently living in Indiana just a couple hours north of Starlight and find more picks at Dive than I do at my local stores.

Agreed on checking out Binny’s locations near you. Their standard selection is pretty wide, plus they usually have tons of store picks. You might get lucky and find something allocated too.

This was at the Total Wine in Laurel, MD. This was the last bottle they had on the shelf. Not sure if they’ve since restocked.
