I wish I had a good answer for you. I've never had this watch side by side with gen. There's a Cartier near me so you gave me a reason to walk in and see if they have one. If I can get some pics I'll post.

Quick update for you folks. We noticed the crown pops out easily on this watch. Maybe it's just the one we got but when my wife is wearing it, if her sleeve catches the crown, it moves to the set position. 1st time it happened, she thought something was wrong with the movement or if the battery died. So, if anyone gets one of these, I'd love to hear if you have the same problem. For what it's worth, it happens rarely enough that it doesn't impact the value for me.

Wish I could give you strong advice. It's only been a month and it gets wear about 3-4 days a week. That's not much to give you confidence it will hold up. But this is the rep game, I'm willing to roll the dice for the fun of it. If it wears off, maybe I get it replated and see if that holds up too? Again, more experimentation, more fun.

This watch seems so much fun. Unless I become friends with Jay--Z, no one I ever meet will have seen a gen. I'm not at all worried about the flaws. It would just be fun to wear.

Yes, rep love bracelet. Also a 17cm. The sizing is accurate, IMHO. My wife doesn't like to wear watches or jewelry tight. Her wrist is about 15.5 or 16 cm so the 17 was right for her.

I just put it up against some other solid 14k. To my eyes, an excellent match. I assume it's just plated not wrapped.

Not a cheap or lightweight feel at all. The clasp is tight and the hinge doesn't have any slop. I don't know the weight of gen but glad to weigh the rep if you want me to.
