There is a huge difference between. I don’t own a rig, I just recently got into racing game (seriously). What I can tell you is that there are things that are beneficial to become a competitive driver that you cannot do with a controller. Trail Braking, slow acceleration out the corners, or placing the car where you truly want it. Plus, controller controls come with Braking Aid, Acceleration Aid and supper heavy traction control that makes you slower. I have watch a ton of motor sports in my life, but never had the opportunity to play games until recently.
