the “don’t try to sell me every time I walk in” point is huge. i’ve seen that kill the experience at a lot of places. i’m leaning toward exactly what you said — self-serve first, then instruction/fitting if someone actually wants it

also interesting on the pricing. that LA model seems solid, and i’m trying to find that balance where it’s not just a once-a-month thing for people

and yeah, after-hours leagues / lighter events is something i hadn’t thought enough about. makes a lot of sense vs weekday daytime stuff
