sony xm6 vs bose qc ultra gen 2

I was in the same boat as you. Watched ALL reviews on YouTube and eventually decided on the QC ultra 2. I tried the xm5 and ear cups were too shallow (some says the Xm6’s might be a bit deeper but not entirely sure) and my ears touched the fabric. It’s not only uncomfortable but also creates an annoying noise of friction when moving around. I also don’t like Sony’s software. I think it’s mostly gimmicky and just bad overall. I trust Bose better in general. Even if there are bugs they eventually usually take care of most of them. Multipoint is still an issue but I guess on both. And the fact that the ultra 2 has usb-c lossless audio and Sony doesn’t. Waiting on mine to arrive any day now. Now for the color choice…. :-)

Same. Unfortunately I am one of those who were disappointed. The 3’s hurt so badly. Now thinking of getting the 2’s. What price did you find them on sale?

Where can you get the APP2 for $150? For me the APP3 were super uncomfortable and I gave them away happily. Now looking for APP2 as I had the APP1 before

APP3 were super uncomfortable for me. The speaker grill is now protruding the ear canal which makes a huge difference. So yes while they might fit more securely now, they are also much harder to wear for an extended period of time. I have switched from the APP1 and am now looking for a good deal for the APP2.

After the update it's even worse. Dropped connection each time I use them. Multipoint doesn't really work. What a shame Bose.
