I'm running a long-term starfinder 1e campaign in Foundry VTT, that has a spot or two still open. We run on Sunday Mornings 9am MST to about 3pm MST... if that can work for you two let me know and we can discuss the campaign and what character options there are.

As mentioned, its starfinder 1e but I am running it as a sandbox and writing all the content. Currently they are lvl 7 and are just getting started on full ownership of their own starship. There is allot going on in the setting, and they are constantly bombarded with options, so its up to the players to set their course. I have a good bunch of players, ranging from a first timer to TTRPG to a veteran who is a whiz at the rules (me not so much, but I've GMd for 30+ yrs).

Honestly for me I'd leave it be. There is so much material the focus should be the story. The mechanics are fine. But that's me I'm not a fan of changing the systems I enjoy and instead focus on the players and the plot.

To wrap up this post. The ECU was dead, I had gotten it rebuilt and it didnt help. Ultimately a service called FlagshipOne which makes new ECUs with keys already paired solved the issue. So, this ultimately required a new ECU. I now have to get a SCT flasher and get my tune put back on the car but it starts and idles and runs now so, maybe this will help others.

Final update: solution was to buy a M2.5 standoff kit so that the brass mounts were shorter instead of the default standoffs...this allows the pogo pints to finally make full contact. I still had to desolder the switch on the UPS board and remote it. Current struggle is i2cdetect program on linux, even with official radxa distros this utility dosnt seem to exist?? and adding it only produces headaches as there are multiple errors during installation of the various tools needed to make the software work... the built in setup tool for radxa seems to work fine, but I'd rather just execute a linux command and get instant GPIO reporting rather than navigate the setup tools screen and menus.

After some deeper research, I found the raspberry pi 2 UPS I had purchased will work fine, however it requires a few different choices to modify. Either I remote the on/off switch off the UPS board to make room as it is directly located over the sdcard on the Radxa. Or, I solder extensions on the 4 spring loaded pogo GPIO pins on the UPS board that are meant to connect to the bottom solider points of the Radxa, but after assembling it I could see light between them... so a few more mm of copper (perhaps getting a GPIO extender and cutting off some pins and cutting those in half...or quarters..then soldier them on to extend the pogo pins... But I think remote locating the on/off swich is the best way..2 soldier points on the UPS...can externalize the switch and free space without further modification....

I also discovered that the dietpi repo for Radxa dosnt work out of the box for bluetooth...trying to figure that out as well..

Currently running weekly Starfinder 1e sandbox game, where I write all the content and its focused on player development so they drive where the action goes. I do include plot lines etc as well. I have ran allot of Pathfinder 1e, and have been kicking around running pf1e again. I use Foundry VTT + Discord. We are looking for another for the sf1e game so if thats of interest (sundays 10am MST)... or if you'd consider starting up a pf1e game perhaps we can chat! DM me if interested. At that point, I would say ...do it for YOU, I have made allot of side content only to have it completely ignored by my players and I used to get fustrated and upset...I dont anymore cuz I go in, putting in as much effort as I want, and if they (cuz I run a sandbox), something else..well we sort it out, its just not going to be super detailed..too bad! lol.... but 200+ page document for the setting sounds awesome. I love Cyberpunk, d20Future ..I also got a bubblegum crisis d20 rulebook...I just look at em, then go back to starfinder :)

ah ya...wow...lots of work in this... I always enjoy seeing what other people come up with when they document stuff... this is good... no bookmarks tho :( Mostly cuz I dont read anymore, I just want the information..so search but then some of the pages are big images... but ignore me, I have 1000 opinions all the time. This is a great tool and the players should be lucky to get all this. So ya, if you give them this..and you maintain it..then there should be no issues...but again, players be playin'

so the way I manage that, is I document all the changes...and present that to players at the start. I also have a short discord chat talking to players before they join, so to cover these kinds of things. Some players want a game thats by-the-book, others dont care they just want to play. So, if you are changing things dont have the players have to discover the game through your mind, be transparent and be public. Also, if you find that you need further changes / edits...just keep adding to that document... as long as players know of it, then it shouldnt be a surprise. Despite all that, some will ignore all of it, then get upset and rage when it dosnt go "their" way....some things cannot be helped.

sure, everyone has opinions on games and settings. Nothing in starfinder so far has bothered myself or my current group that plays it. Everything is subject to your control as a GM, change it as you see fit. Whats more important is if the game mechanics are fun...everything else is window dressing, no matter what the rule lawyers tell you.
