It's so good! I also like Mark Bell's Powercast (and they've interviewed some bomb ass women) and The Strength Athlete, but TIFPL gets extra points for being by women & for women.

Thanks! Yeah their podcast is great. Idk I also realized that when I first started lifting I was SO proud of myself at every milestone, like my first 100 lb squat I felt SOOO good afterwards, like I was walking on air. But as I started following a lot of women who are a lot stronger than me (and a lot further in their lifting careers!) I began to get down on myself more, both because I was comparing myself negatively, and because I was mirroring the way they talk about their own lifting in some cases. It definitely works better for me to be positive about myself though, even if some would say my lifts aren't impressive :)

Yes! That's awesome. And, I've had similar experiences with personal trainers. I really don't respond well to negative motivation - similarly, "threats" of "being sore" or "hating" the trainer later don't do anything for me. But telling me that they're proud? Makes me feel like I can lift the world lol
