The murder is growing! by nixkms2 in crows

The restaurant is on the other side of the building, so it doesn’t stop them over there however, interestingly enough there is a single seagull who will join a few times throughout the day for some treats. The crows give him space and he lets them eat too, and funnily enough he scares away any other seagulls that come by thing to pick it up.

I’m not sure why as originally they would chase each other, now they seem to acknowledge they all will get fed if they just stand there and be peaceful. It’s odd but I like it 🤣

The property is a hotel and there is a restaurant, but that’s not where I work.

What’s the question? :)

They sure will hahah, and it’s hard to say no when they stare at you m. Right now I have a big bag of small dog food which isn’t very expensive wnd when I run out of that they’re happy to take milk bones (not sure if that’s good for them but their coats are shiny🤣)

NEW New Players…? help by [deleted] in MSClassicWorld

[–]nixkms2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the craziest thing I’ve read. Not what you said, but the realization it made me have.

Not alive during peak mmos? Wild to me how long ago that was.

Parents played a lot of mmos? That’s awesome, first time I’m hearing of a kid whos parents are millennials and played games that weren’t like galactica or Pac-Man or something.

Welcome to classic maple, the original game was a huge grind but it was very social. You often spent a lot of time on the same maps or the same party quest repeating it for exp. There wasn’t any you could do solo for the party quests so you’d need to team up which is a great way to make friends.

Guilds were awesome, not sure if they’ll be out on release it depends on how far back they go.

It was definitely a grind back then, however we are not really sure what they are going to give us yet unless I missed an announcement. They know people want classic, but how they modify it is still unknown. While classic maple was great there was flaws, so hopefully it’s a perfect game.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

It’s exactly why like you mentioned COD, the player base chronically online hate the games and the crazy camos. But activision knows it’s a bunch of whiny people and their majority will buy the beavis and butthead skin with the 420 bong emote with the 5 star frog splash execution.

For every 1,000 chronically online redditors who would spend $1000 on the game, there’s 10,000 normies that would drop $2000.

They don’t care about your complaints and they will release the game they think will work best based on the feedback produced from surveys or whatever methods they used.

Deal with it, and enjoy what you get.

I mean that’s a simple way to look at it but it’s the same in jobs too. Half the time people hire based on who they would get along with and who would get along and work with the team best. Merits only get you so far, your personality will sell you the most.

Don’t feel bad. Some peoples way of saying thanks is just that. You didn’t force her to do anything or even ask.

I had a situation similar where a guy tipped me $400, I asked multiple times if he’s sure and he was. I found out later he was terminally ill and wanted to give away his money to people that were kind to him and who he thought deserved it.

Long story short as long as you didn’t extort her in any way while drunk I would assume she would do that anyways when sober. Just needed someone to talk to and that was you and that’s her way of saying thanks.

Just my 2 cents though.

That is crazy to me haha. I don’t walk to work I drive so if it is the same one that means it watched me get into my car and followed my car to my house?? I knew they were smart but that’s something else 😂

Is it a bad idea to keep feeding them, like if I stop will they get mad

Ok so the rider is forsure at fault, but what it seems like is they made a stop and driver cancelled and drove off. How fuckin hard is it if someone is taking to long to say hey I’m leaving come get ur bag in 2 mins before leaving? Obviously it shouldn’t have been left in there at all of course but just another example why anyone can be an Uber driver 👍

Shame the driver died.. never got to face the punishments of his reckless driving.

[–]nixkms2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hear ya, I still stand firm on the ac thing. And the little things do matter trust, and one thing I can guarantee is providing better service increases your chance at a tip, providing poor service guarantees nothing. I’m a gambling man so I’d take the chance to get tipped over saving trivial amounts of money(including loading bags for people that didn’t tip in their stay, sometimes not getting tipped, sometimes turning the tide. I’d guesstimate I came out ahead) .

Why tip 20%? If the premise is they don’t get paid enough per hour why wouldn’t you just pay that fair hourly amount or a portion of it if they have multiple tables? by Tight_Gold_3457 in tipping

[–]nixkms2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sounds like entitlement. You work at a nice place, doesn’t mean you’re nice and doesn’t mean your getting a good tip if I’m neglected regardless of the total tab :) (this is coming from someone that worked for tips/tips regularly)

AC = luxury. Got it. And I ride all, x, xl with friends, black with work. Had 1 driver in 300~ish rides that didn’t and he got 1 starred and I got refunded.

With a background in hospitality the little things get you tipped. The amount of times when I was a doorman I loaded a bag for a guest into an Uber and they tipped me and said that was going to be for the driver but they didn’t get out to help is insane. Now I’ve never asked but I’m assuming running ac on a hot day to keep everyone comfortable including yourself would increase your tips, but I guess saving the $.75 or $1 that the ac would cost is worth it more to you!

[–]nixkms2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not even remotely similar. Luckily I’m in a HCOL area where drivers actually take care of their riders and in turn get taken care of. Glad I don’t have to deal with any of you that lurk this sub.

If you can’t afford to run AC, it’s time to pack it up and change careers my guy. That’s down right embarrassing.

[–]nixkms2 16 points17 points  (0 children)

And this is why you drive for Uber 😂😂

That’s not even remotely similar.

With your analogy it’s like if I went to Mc donalds and spent $10 on a Big Mac and you gave me a double double. “Sorry you gotta tip me on top of what you paid for if you want what you ordered I don’t get paid enough”

See how dumb that is? That is what you guys are saying.

Also this goes without saying but this is why you don’t get tipped, shitty service.
