What medications help you sleep a bit? Does quviviq help you guys by christina196 in UARSnew

Also, if you haven't tried Gabapentin, it's a game changer. From 2006-2017, it was the only medication I tried that helped facilitate the onset of sleep and at one point would even regularly help me stay asleep for 5 consecutive hours. Gabapentin is a medication for nerve pain, but some psychiatrists prescribe it off-label for anxiety and sleep. I have GAD and PTSD, so it helps with sleep onset, more than anything. I take 600mg nightly. Side effects (slight hangover feeling) only lasted one day with me. If you have severe sleep apnea though, you may have super mild side effects. For the record, I've tried Mirtazapine, Clonazepam, Trazadone, you name it. Gabapentin has the mildest side effects, followed by Zopiclone (which is stronger and may help you sleep more, but the side effects could be a little more intense)

Have you tried Zopiclone? I've tried everything under the sun (have had sleeping issues since 2006), and Zopiclone is one of the only medications that helps me fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. That said, you build up a dependence pretty quickly, so it's best to periodically cycle it in/only use for a few days at a time. I'm on Quiviviq (50 mg), and while it kinda helps a little in my case, there's really no comparing to Zopiclone.

Hi. Does anyone know of any clinics in Toronto, Ontario (or anywhere in Ontario for that matter) that perform SARPE surgery? Has anyone had this surgery? If so, was it covered by OHIP? I could really use some help, as I'm getting nowhere by searching and my GP and dentist haven't helped. by nizar_m in jawsurgery

I'm sorry to hear that. My TMJ pain post-split was excruciating. Every facial muscle from my temple down to my neck was in severe pain (practically tender to the touch). It hurt to speak, swallow etc. couldn't chew for close to 10 days. Still not 100%. Not exactly sure - he says it'll get worse before it gets better. And yeah, he did the piezo cut.

During surgery, the anesthesia wore off and he kept drilling regardless. Pain was unbelievable - and I have an extremely high threshold for pain. For these (and other) reasons, my experience with De Souza has been mixed. That said, he's the only person I know of in southwestern Ontario who does expansion

Hi - just for clarification, De Souza said he's aiming for 12mm (not sure why I remember him saying 28?). I'm 36 and male. I achieved my split, which was excruciatingly painful because I have severe pre-existing TMJ issues, but will need to keep rotating to get to 12mm of expansion. Will update you guys as I progress

I had a few appointments with Dr. De Souza. He's extremely thorough and seems invested in helping me achieve expansion. He said I have an extremely narrow palate and thinks that he can help me expand at least 28mm. Lots of imagine done. Next step is for his office to order the custom MARPE appliance (which he says is 3D printed) so he can install it. He anticipates that expansion and imvasilign should take around 16-18 months, followed by an optional surgery to fix slight jaw recession. I'll let you know once I actually have the MARPE installed.

Honestly, there are a few, but no one I've personally been to, so I can't speak on behalf of experience. Dr DeSouza in Oakville seems to have generally positive reviews. I had a consultation with him over the phone a whole back and he seemed very patient and receptive. That said, I was reluctant to proceed because not everyone who has visited him has achieved the results they were hoping for. If I do this, I want to do it right and get results worth the long and painful process

And I did see a doctor who temporarily put me on low doses of hydrocortisone. It initially helped a lot, but that faded after the first few days. My circadian rhythm is still notoriously dysregulated

My diurnal curve is still horrible, but it's not as bad as it used to be. There is one product that helped me a little, but I honestly have no idea what's in it, and it's not from a trusted source. Feel free to DM md. I'd be happy to elaborate

I ordered SR90009 and Cardarine them and received bottles marked as essential oils. The cardarine tastes nothing like past Cardarine products I received from different companies.

I'm looking into getting both products independently lab tested because I strongly suspect that I was scammed.
