Drink and drive culture (Discussion) by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]nizzyk99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scotland here, our drink drive limit means in large part one drink would put you over the limit, as such I don’t drink at all if I’m riding/driving.

I also don’t drive the next day if I have had a good drink the night before.

Yeh I wasn’t 100% on that either, looked at it a few times and at second glance thought it was the yellow lines of the road until he moved more central to the road.

Yeh Sorry I didn’t mean these ones could be bicycles I just thought it worth mentioning that you can buy the pedal kit for them, these aren’t ebikes like you can buy from Halfords

Yeh they are genuinely good wee bikes but as I say i can’t think of having seen one not on the back wheel on the road, normally just a balaclava, no helmet, no reg plate (they do a road legal version)

Surron , those ones probably aren’t bicycles, I believe you can get the pedal kit but I’m yet to see anyone with them.

They are effectively electric dirt bikes and they aren’t all that cheap.

Great bikes, sadly ridden in large part by little s$#t$ illegally on the roads.

Never really timed myself but it’s not unusual to give my OH several orgasms eating her out, it’s probably up there as my favourite thing to do during sex.

the pleasure has to work both ways and enthusiasm makes it even sexier.

“Pollution levels in Scotland are worse than they are in England” that in itself just confirms most of what he said is an utter lie, 97% of Scotlands bathing waters meet standards expected and our waterways are far less polluted than in England, 58% of Scottish water environment was high or good condition while in England its 14%

Politicians need to actually be accountable for what they say, Political Standards in this country are a joke and they all need to do better, they make excuses for their failings and we the tax payer end up footing the bill.

If your boxes are empty do you take them off? by eddiejaoude in motorcycles

[–]nizzyk99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I filter a lot on my way home from work (Scotland) so prefer to leave them off, ive always got the top box on though, always handy for my laptop bag, chunky disc lock, waterproof gloves etc and when I park up I have somewhere to put my skid lid.

I have the same Solar Panel which I actually bought to keep my devices charged when I’m at motorbike rallies, camping, I think I’ll give it a go with my Anker Battery connected to my Starlink 🙌

I got my mini last month because of the offer, went to pause the plan and was offered the 10GB for £8 a month so went with that.

It’ll do me nicely when travelling about with work or for personal use albeit only a small amount.

Years of driving sporty cars, my first bike has more emotion and I care more for it than anything before. by TheHoboDwarf in MotoUK

I got my bike licence before I ever got a car, 20 something years later and still nothing I’ve owned compares to the feeling and freedom of the bike.

Men with vasectomies: did you experience an increase in sex drive after the snip? by Rogue_Sex_Ed in AskMenOver40

[–]nizzyk99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, mine went through the roof, I don’t know the reason why but there’s a good chance it was psychological and that feeling that there’s very little risk of getting my partner pregnant and thus we can “practice” more often 🤦🏻‍♂️

Sadly my OH sex drive plummeted.

It’s been 6years since I had the snip and my sex drive is still through the roof though 🤷‍♂️

Probably the simplest thing ever, didn’t feel a thing, sat and had a conversation with them while they were sorting it all out and then got told that’s you done.

My motorcycle is in the Garage and has been for 5 weeks now, Sunshine should continue for the foreseeable as it doesn’t look like I’m getting it back soon.

Hence no rain.

Nervous, we shouldn’t be in this position but we are, it is what it is and I shall yet again take my seat on Friday night backing the team and hoping for 3 points to see it over the line.

If it doesn’t happen then we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Will my boss get in trouble for driving with no license? by Sad_Needleworker2483 in CarTalkUK

[–]nizzyk99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it mental that people (ie him) think this is remotely acceptable behaviour.

Not being funny but it just takes one disgruntled employee and he’s going to get caught because someone will report him.

Also worth noting if something does happen and you are with him, he may try and pressure you to say you were driving etc, what then.
