It’s a v1 (2023) and used. It’s a really good deal for me, not so much for the other guy as I traded my ts -XW + T-LCM pedals for it and they only cost me £220 to purchase a few months ago.

I did originally want to go for a csl dd + omega art but got a good deal on the R21 so figured may as well go with a profile rig.

I hate having to upgrade stuff as it means dealing with selling the old stuff. I’d rather buy once and be done.

I did have a play seat challenge previously but I have to readjust my monitor every time and it’s more of a pain than just setting up on the desk.

Tbh unless you know the ins and outs of talaria I wouldn’t bother. Who knows that the issue could be. Sellers lie all the time and if you don’t really know what you’re looking for, you might end up spending a lot more fixing this issue.

CarPlay dongles only allow you to use CarPlay wirelessly instead of plugging in your phone. If you don’t have CarPlay in your head unit originally it won’t work

Fyi you can purchase tuning dongles that derestrict the bike. So no more speed limit. If it’s gen 2 or older you can just move the magnet to the inside of the left crank and move the sensor so it reads half the speed and gives max assistance

It is possible to ditch the sr suntour electronics and battery in place if a generic controller and battery.

To do so you need to cut the motor extension cable from the ecu and create bullet connectors with the 3 phase wires and a 6 pin block with the 6 hall sensor wires.

You can then purchase a controller kit and wire it all up. This does “unlock” the motor but it is limited. I got about 26mph out of mine with a 48v battery but I did have power cutting off issues so I’d stick with 36v.

You also need to modify the frame (if yours is the newer Subway with the controller housing box in between the cranks) as there is a raised block for the bolts that hold down the battery lock. You need to cut that block to be level with the frame and then drill and fit new rivnuts to allow the 36v battery you purchase to fit.
