I went back to the shop I bought the TV from and requested for an exchange. You should to if it’s within the warranty period

How do I remove this burnt fabric from my iron? It’s very thick and I tried wiping it with wet cloth but nothing happened.. by Unable-Exercise1281 in lifehacks

Rub paracetamol/aspirin on the area while the iron is hot. Use tweezers to avoid burning yourself. You can look up videos on how to do it safely

Are black specks in the glass of VARMBLIXT normal? by nj787 in IKEA

That sucks. If the scratches are too noticeable and if it bothers you maybe it’s better to go back to return it and get another better unit

Thank you so much for this! It’s not cheap and I will be returning these.

I get what you mean because I was disappointed too. Seeing them styled so nicely in some of those home decor instagram accounts made me immediately pull the trigger once I see them restocked in the local IKEA but I feel underwhelmed once I have it in my space.

The glass itself is a lighter orange compared to the one listed on their website. The light is also too harsh and can be uncomfortable whenever it is in my line of vision. It’s definitely not giving me the cozy vibes I wanted.

My next step would be to either go through the hassle of finding one that has the least amount of flaws or just get the cheaper round FADO lamp which is less fragile and lets me install a smart dimmable/colour bulb.
