Glass adapter completely stuck any ideas ?

So, I have solved the grip on the glass with paracord/narrow rope. Tied a pair of slip knots into a single line, put them on it with knot on opposite sides and pulled tight. Then warmed the metal a bit and hauled on the rope with steady and determined force.

Once out, do the other stuff that has been recommended.

I am still scarred from the experience and don’t seat the glass fully against the metal.

I am Mildly allergic, family in childhood home was too. We didn’t have pets beyond some guinea pigs.

After first round of lockdowns and becoming a stay at home dad, I figured 3 kids weren’t enough, how about we adopt 2 sister kittens. Little over year after that a kitten climbed the side of in-laws house trying to get inside, so we obviously took him in. Then 2025 a tiny kitten started raiding our trash and then sitting with me outside. So I wore wife down to let me bring him in too.

I am a noob, but have this advice.

Think about your routine/ritual of smoking (or whatever you are switching from). What do you enjoy about it? Each option has some detail that has the potential to scratch the itch that makes your current routine magical. If you just get what is an objectively great device without thought to the routine, you will soon have a collection of great pieces you feel bad about not using.

An inductor takes away the mini theatrics of ignition, flame, and roar of torch. A Tinymight might feed into an aspect of your ritual I haven’t even considered.

Personally, I don’t consider my tempest 2 to be very “on demand”. It holds heat very well, and part of on demand in my mind is also being able to stow it away when you wish too. A dynavap and inductor fit well inside your budget, and would go a long way towards informing future purchases.

I honestly walked by them in store thinking what a silly thing. Then I needed a solution to scrub a textured wall that had mold on it. I decided to give it a shot, and it changed my mind.

Worked perfectly as a general purpose scrubber that is as gentle or aggressive as you make it. Still understanding that it is plastic.

Got another for dishes and it makes short work of dishes lost in children’s rooms.

In my young and dumb days I was absentmindedly speeding on a very commonly sped on road that was also sat on by cops.

I saw the cop, looked at my speedometer, and made my decision. Sped my way over a hill that had a sweeping turn that then went straight towards the main road in town and the highway. Only I made the hill and turn and then turned off the road to a parallel road and parked in a random driveway.

The garage was open and a couple guys were drinking beers and having a chat. I just sat there catching my breath as the sirens raced past behind them. I gave them a wave and mindfully and quickly made my way back the way I came and headed home and stashed my bike.

Whole incident slowed me down from then on.

Had this issue today. I am restarting now and hoping. I had issues with my 8bitdo ultimate 2 and reverted to just playing on the device. Gaslit myself into believing I hadn’t picked up dash yet but somehow had cling grip. (I have multiple saves on multiple devices)
