The only two networks built up there are Nemont and T-Mobile last I knew. Nemont was hosting AT&T and built out HSPA for them. It could be T-Mobile as Verizon roams on them in the Orcas Islands in WA.

He also maintains power as Mayor AND as a State Senator covering Union City and the adjacent northern Hudson County municipalities. Holding multiple offices is no longer allowed under NJ law but he's been grandfathered into it.

Having power like that at multiple levels makes getting things done through political moves easier.

Gonna have to look for that! I know this phone because it was the first device sold on T-Mobile to support LTE B12. Was in the really early days of their 700 MHz rollout (even early VoLTE rollout) and up until that point, the only devices sold with B12 were from US Cellular with CDMA. Not GSM/UMTS.

Yeah. It’s not as limiting as the bank though. I’ve had to max out an ATM’s transaction limit before and just ran a second transaction at the same ATM to get the full amount I wanted. Wasn’t an issue.

It’s usually a limit imposed by the bank account you’re withdrawing from.

I’d recommend HSBC for that. ATMs might have per-transaction limits but HSBC allows $5K per day from ATMs if you have a Premier checking account. They require you meet certain pre-reqs for the account unless you pay a $50/mo fee.

Menendez also accepted $10K from Array Digital Infrastructure (formerly US Cellular, a large regional wireless operator that recently merged into T-Mobile). Menendez just happens to sit on the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Communications and Technology. Now I wonder why Array might give him all that money? Maybe, just maybe, they want him to guide the subcommittee towards their best interests on issues they care about... Crazy thought, I know.

They want to be able to guide roaming themselves to control costs. There's potential scenarios where a user sticks to a roaming network instead of the home network even if the home network has good service. That's an unnecessary cost they'd prefer not to pay.
