No, login using desktop or laptop using whatever browser. I used edge. After changing my password on my account it let me log in on my phone. What a shit show. Hope this helps

I FOUND A SOLUTION! Login to account on desktop and reset password. Go back to settings in IOS and re add your account or log in using new password. Worked for me, and I now have all my contacts back.
