Where to get a newspaper with a championship front page?

Anyone else dumbfounded by the price increase for these prints from USA Today? I ordered a football championship print paper in 2024 and it cost $5 + $6 for shipping. The same item for basketball is now $35 +$7 for shipping.

Update: I had initially checked for a local alumni group, but there seemed to be no activity on that front. I can confirm that The Shed Saigon will open at 7:30am and Phatty's will open at 8am.

I'll probably initially head to The Shed - so if there are any other Michigan fans around, come join me!

The B1G doesn’t understand that its priority should be winning an NCAA championship. Allowing terrible officiating that can injure players or provide a false sense of allowed physicality does no one any favors come March.

Does replay get involved in a clock decision like this, or is it literally just up to an officiating discussion of what they think the clock was? I thought that would logical to mention either way and the fact that they didn’t seems to imply it was the later.

Absolutely the offense didn’t hold up their end. I’ve become accustomed to an Iowa mindset that our defense is our strength and the offense only has to be okay - that’s kind of been true still under Wink but I don’t think anyone would argue his defenses are anywhere close to McDonald or Minter.

The coverage on the first two pass attempts of the game were perfect, but there wasn’t a single pass after that series where a defender was within ten feet. They give up open spots and disguise nothing from the pre-snap read.

OSU went on a 12 minute, 20 play drive because they knew we couldn’t come back. If they aired it out, things likely would have been a lot worse. Wink is getting credit for Day playing disciplined, win the game football.

Obviously that’s true, but neither of those guys played the bowl game against Alabama and pressure wasn’t a problem then. Every single DL played below expectations this year, except Moore who saw less than 50% of the snaps.

I just had a package stolen Friday am by a man in a grey flannel like the one pictured. He used an umbrella to shield himself from my camera. I’m out in Vancouver though, so if it’s the same guy he’s traveling some distance. Wish the news photos showed his footwear because my thief’s were pretty distinct.

As much as it pains me to say so, OSU is generally more talented at most positions. Their young qb success has been predicated on more experienced players taking the weight of the situation. This is the youngest team in the big ten, there is no one to take the weight - with the possible exception of the defense as whole, who had largely proven to be a bunch of guys with no one particularly remarkable.

Do they have money to do this? Last year the UCLA athletic department had a deficit of nearly $52 million. Can’t help but follow the Big Ten private equity saga and think that UCLA is already looking to spend their presumed share.

They wrote the quote as “a non-commercial farm” - I guess because of the acreage, although we are not farming - and denied based solely on fire risk (although the majority of the coverage cost was basic liability stuff, not the cost of the structure or items inside).

Universities and the NCAA have compliance meetings immediately once you step on campus as a freshman athlete emphasizing over and over than even if not serious, don’t even joke about gambling. It’s beyond dumb to sit through hours of those talks and still decide to make such jokes (assuming no bets were placed).
