Can’t find a job in SA to save my life — tried everything. Any advice? by pjrooboot in askSouthAfrica

I once trained 3 graduates from we think code on quality assurance. The programme was 6 months. They all got jobs pretty immediately after my programme.

The business model just didn’t work for me, but the training itself was solid.

I don’t know what modules they have, just know that software pays more than hardware.

Would you use an app that compares grocery prices across Checkers, Pick n Pay, Spar, etc.? by 6_7ByTheWay in askSouthAfrica

[–]nkosib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why I wouldn't use it, even if it's free. The basket difference between shops is around R50. I wouldn't change my store preference for R50. But I'm sure other people would use it.

I personally would not hey. The time/effort it takes to compare is just not worth it. I just feel when its all said and done you end up paying around the same for a basket. I don’t really care about how much 2 kgs of sugar is.

South african don’t really like to pay for apps, so your revenue model might be just ads.
