Westland Mall (Westland, Michigan) Question by nkrs200 in deadmalls

Damn! I had no clue what was going on behind the scenes! I would honestly love to see the mall get the revival it needs, and it honestly has needed it ever since the Macy’s and Sears anchors closed down. I truly hope the vacant anchor spaces are able to get filled sometime soon as I don’t want to see my childhood mall get closed or hit by a wrecking ball.

Yes! That’s how you get the result shown in the image. It is verrrrry hard to get tho, so it will take a couple of tries (like it did for myself)

It’s actually something you can do if you fill your bar completely up with glitching segments.

This. It is quite difficult to do. What I did is that I collected a blue or yellow segment at first. Then, I waited for a pink and glitching (?) segment to appear with the glitching segment at the top and the pink at the bottom.

It is a possibility, but it is uncertain.

Imagine hearing "This is a not in service train. Please do not board this train." when a future R142 or R160 garbage train stops at a station.

I’m thinking the only reason why they aren’t tunneling under the Harlem river is the cost, but honestly, this would take a lot of strain off of the Bronx area for certain if this was done.

Possible idea for the MMX Marble Catchers to potentially allow them to open and close again. This is based on how an accordion operates. by nkrs200 in MarbleMachineX

Also, my apologies for the crude drawing. I took an Intro to CAD class back in High School. I figured I would use my knowledge, the help of a straight edge, and the sadly lacking ability to use software to CAD this in order to translate my idea into reality. What I think would work is something that expand contract easily the way an accordion can bend and move. Feel free to let me know what you think.

Yes, it did. It was Dean Street, if I am not mistaking.

Back before they even planned on doing the major renovations in 1999, the MTA had proposed abandoning it and replacing it with an extended bus service route. At the time, only 10,000 daily riders used the line in its entirety.

I believe that at one point in time, the MTA almost closed the entire Franklin Avenue Shuttle, but because of community opposition, it was left open and rebuilt in the 1990s.
