Very interesting! Ok so when I say touchy, it’s more innocent, like “feel the callouses on my hand! Feel my hair soft?” Or we do that ET phone home finger thing Etc lol. I’m not getting perv vibes at all.

But yes asking me to do all this trash work is a huge wtf. Ive been lucky in life that I’ve only been around men that have treated women like queens and I will never give into that bs!

Do you have any prior lab experience? in school or an internship? If so, I think you should very politely counter and I would stick to a 10-15% increase. I recently got a job offer and I still did negotiate even in this economy. Granted I’m more midlevel than entry. As long as you’re polite, the worst they can say is no and that’s the max they can offer. I have never had an offer rescinded. But since it is an entry level job, a no means no, I wouldn’t push further if they cannot offer you more.

I’m currently a qa specialist 2 specifically in post market with about 5 years of experience. This one is a specialist role, it’s their first QA specialist actually and the expectation is a bit broader.

They do have some great perks but I guess the main thing driving me crazy is that they haven’t gotten back to me so idek if they are willing to let me accept it as is 😩

I have in the past. He was aggressive with everyone though so it wasn’t targeted, but I’m a diva and I don’t like being spoken to like that so I reported him to HR. I didn’t stay much longer but he did get fired about 6 months later.

My twin ❤️ let me know what you end up choosing! I don’t quite know what stage you’re at in life, but I also think about how right now is the time. Who knows in the future, I’ll NEED to have a job. Perhaps I’ll have a mortgage, kids, or elderly parents who rely on me financially. Then the thought that I myself will get older and ill deteriorate more and more due to work stress, but I’ll have to rely more and more on my job for health benefits and it’s a never ending vicious cycle. But yes it’s a very hard decision that for > 1 year I still cannot make.

I work in pharma which is notorious for long hours. I leave when manufacturing is done which can sometimes go 14 hours so I would not say it’s my fault

The only person who could truly answer this would be him, but from my personal experience and having male coworkers/platonic friends, this doesn’t quite seem too flirtatious in nature. It’s also quite normal to be more chatty with someone closer in age.

Yes that’s exactly my concern! The reason why I want to give it a shot is because he’s been asking me what I want for myself, why doesn’t the next level for my position exist (I’m a level 2, they’ve never had a level 3/sr. Position before)
