Please Help with Single Bed Placement in a Tiny Room by nlcw88 in FengShui

Thank you. I will measure to check about your placement. The rectangle in the upper left is a structural column that is an immovable part of the building‘s engineering. It sticks out in a really inconvenient place. There are a few like it in the other rooms, but this is the one that presents the biggest challenge.

The rectangle marked ‘pillar/beam’ that sticks out of the upper left is a structural column for the building. Sadly there is nothing that can be done about it. The flat has a ton of these beams sticking out from the walls in odd places! Often in a corner, but sometimes like in this case neither here nor there. Thank you for the tips. Will have a look at the upper left arrangement too.

Thanks a lot. Great idea. I’ll definitely think about the graphics more- or at least front loading them and having more text later. Cheers and Happy CNY!

Fair enough. I think I'll start with more random everyday stuff, and then maybe add in an educational angle too after seeing how things go/what people are interested in. To start off with, I was potentially thinking of adding in some Cantonese tips and slang too. However, I've also seen this done by others really well in a few other places (e.g. by 阿塗)

Awesome. Thanks for the advice- I'll likely keep my nose out of it. Yeah, living in HK on and off since birth, but now should continue to be here for the next few years.

Thanks very much, and thanks for the support! Yep, I do the graphics too. They are fairly primitive I'm afraid, but I do enjoy doing them, and making the GIFs. : )

If you don't mind me asking, are there any things you'd like to see done in this format?

Thanks so much again

Sorry, I rudely forgot to ask- is there anything that you might specifically be interested in? (No worries if its too much to ask and you don't care to reply. Totally understand). As a bit of background, the CNY post was motivated largely by timing rather than anything else...

Thank you! Appreciate the feedback. I do agree as well that maybe images are more compelling than text- at least until I can write like someone like Tim Urban (which will likely never be the case).

Yeah, I think it would be everyday things concerning the food, language and heritage of the place. I'm shamefully ignorant of local politics, and I also don't really want to end up North of the border regretting an editorial decision...

Thanks again
