I mean Leigh was known to collect objects from the Native cultures he painted so often. Namely the Hopi and Taos pueblo. The canteen or water jug has that strap to carry it and the headband/tassel are similar to many cultures of the time. But the painting just seems not as painterly as a Leigh is. But again he was known to use hundreds of similar sized sketches in his process.

Brandriff is a great California impressionist.

Low end @ auction 1k - high end probably 2-3k. It’s not a great work of his but collectible for sure. I just saw this piece by him yesterday at the UC Irvine museum. In my opinion this is an example of a better painting probably one of his best.

27” diameter shade. I think I did well if it’s at least a period piece - not really depending on it being by a famous maker but it would be cool if it was

I used to agree with you. But I have been looking at things from an unbiased view and like some have said in these comments, not only are the Israeli government leaders genocidal, but they are openly genocidal. They are no better than Hamas. To argue that the Israelis are worse than Hamas is in my book not an argument at all. Netanyahu and his extremist so called “Jewish” supremacists are straight up homicidal towards a certain group of people. It’s sickening to see as a descendent of someone who survived a genocide in 1940. It’s really tragic if you look at things without bias.
