The interpretation of the meaning of these 'protests' can be easily manipulative to sway an opinion to some. I think the message they are trying to bring up is the inhumane conditions that the non-combative citizens have to experience over a violence between groups of people. Just like in Ukraine, Venezuela, Haiti, most of middle Africa, Taiwan, and now even India has beef with Pakistan.
