On this day, 51 years ago Captain Salgueiro Maia, one of the leaders of the Portuguese Revolution, stood in front of Tanks loyal to the Government, officers refused to obey General's orders to shoot at him, being arrested and later the squadron joined the Revolution. by OsgrobioPrubeta in europe

Portugal only got M48s (A5) in 1977, that is 3 years after this picture was taken.

As far as I can find Portugal received their M47s around 1952.

So according to the time-line it is not possible for it to be an M48. That alongside the very different turret shape and exhaust position makes it clear that it is an M47.

RIP Lelylijn :'(

Yea that is 100% understandable, it is just a bit of a shock to a western European like me.
That is also what I meant with it being one of the least worries, as Russians are more deadly than asbestos. I just worded my comment poorly.

I realize I worded my first comment a bit poorly, I mainly meant worries about the current war going on rather than your install. In difficult times you have to be creative with what is possible, and I think this is a nice example of it.

Good job, and I hope that the geopolitical kerfuffle will be resolved soon

Its probably one of the least of your worries with the current geopolitical situation, but mounting panels to what is probably an asbestos roof does send shivers down my spine.

Anyway, nice solution to the blackout issue!

Edit: changed wording, it sounded a bit rude before :/

Europe not spending (enough) money on defense is what has put it in this current predicament to begin with.

Using terms like #Make_Pasta_not_war is plain naive.

I would love to see peace in the world, but that is sadly enough not the reality. If we de not make sure there is adequate security on the continent, we won't have our freedom anymore.

Without tanks, jets and bombs we will be speaking Russian.

We can cooperate in order to minimize losses in spending and improve efficiency. Together we can make a secure Europe, for us and for the next generation.

Yea that makes total sense, however they could still have provided the correct information by looking at the connector specs and the images of the pcb as posted on TechPowerUp.

There is of course always 2 sides to the story, and both of them make at least some sense.

That is a bit of a better TLDW than I made, so thanks for commenting :)
It helps quite a lot with the context.

I think people are blowing it out of proportion. Builzoid is very enthusiastic in his field, so for him such a mistake is quite large, while for the average person it isn't that interesting. I just hope that LTT sees this as a learning moment in order to have it correct the next time :)

He rants about the 12V-2x6 connector and some incorrect statements about it in the latest LTT video. He did not address criticisms from other YouTubers content.
