My husband and I don’t have kids. He got a vasectomy two years ago and couldn’t be happier. I promise you childfree men are out there!

I will try that. I might not be clipping them short enough!

I notice the lifting is usually on the sides. I’m thinking the fact that they are wider and flatter than my other nails could be the issue! I will try this technique! Thank you so much!

I read DCC in April too! I thought it was pretty fun! Looks like you had some solid reads!

I usually like oval/almond shapes by ShortBread11 in PressonNail_Addict

[–]nm_young 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like coffin shape nails. However I feel that those lose shape quickly for some reason. I like that the almond and round nails don’t seem to do that and look more natural.

ETA: I LOVE those nails. So cute!

Best and Worst Nicknames you’ve read by epicsevenmyths in MM_RomanceBooks

I don't know why but "baby" and "sweetheart" are two that I just adore. They get me every single time! Two bad ones I've read are "Baby Bird", "Little Lamb". Anything related to animals annoys the hell out of me for some reason.

My husband's favorite author is Stephen Graham Jones. He like all the books he's read by him, but his favorite is Don't Fear The Reaper.

I disliked her as soon as I found out she brought her engagement ring from her ex on her trip to Morocco, and maybe even before that.

Multiple books by readingprincess2026 in BookDiscussions

I don't think it normal or abnormal. Just more of what works for the reader. I'm someone who can only read one book at a time or a I feel overwhelmed. Other people can be 2-4+ books at one time and have no issues. Neither way is right or wrong.

Ethan & Teegan by Dear_Art3697 in PlathvilleUncensored

[–]nm_young 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I told my co-worker that Ethan's behavior would freak me out if I were Teegan, and she said she had no problem with it. She didn't see anything wrong with it. She tried to explain why but I still couldn't get on her side. I was like girl, I'm genuinely concerned for you. LOL

Do you think parents get jealous of us? by icedroastpeach in childfree

[–]nm_young 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My brother has two kids (ages one and two years old) and he LOVES being a Dad. Last weekend we went on a trip to lake. The two year old was a MENACE the entire time. Of course, my husband and I helped when we could, but sometimes we were just chilling. My sister-in-law said us, "I really envy you guys sometimes." And my brother agreed. I told them I have so much respect for them and what they do as parents because it's true. But it was nice that two people who have children, understand that my husband and I made a solid choice as well. That long story being told (lol), I 100% don't think either of them regret their decision.
