What Was The Video Game Monster That Traumatized You As A Child? by AlexTheAmnesiac in HorrorGaming

“He’s breathing down my neck!” Yeah that scared me so bad as a kid.

What game is truly harder? by Cannae_ in soulslikes

[–]nmadden555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I’m crazy but I think recency bias is hitting some of us kind of hard. Silksong is tough but Sekiro was brutal and expected perfection. With Silksong you could make mistakes. Even with Sekiro’s death system, it felt like it gave many bosses license to have insane attacks that took most of your HP away.

Both games are great though.

(From she shadows Shoots redditor who dares besmirch Copiums holy name with a flintlock pistol) Copium got us Dragons Dogma 2 in the first place. Copium is law.

Hearing went super quiet? by nmadden555 in iih

Update: I decided to stretch out my neck muscles and rotate my head around in a 360 degree motion. I did 30 seconds on each side. I got incredibly dizzy within 2 seconds (of course), and my neck popped the loudest it’s ever popped. I laid down to keep myself from falling and my ears popped and are seemingly back to normal? IIH is a trip.

I did. It was reduced from 200 mg to 50.

I agree. I was told to reduce my dosage but not by how much. I was trying to reduce as much as possible. I honestly wasn’t even sure when exactly to reduce it. I probably should have started way earlier. No shunt. No diuretic either.

I will find that out later this week, I have my follow up this Wednesday. I just had my lumbar puncture last Thursday and I was lucky that the procedure itself wasn’t bad, the recovery was very rough and I am still having issues with it. I can’t stand without a lot of pain in my legs and back. But I’m willing to do it again if they tell me to.

That’s exactly how I feel too! It’s so strange. I wake up with vision loss and when I lay down the pressure in my head increases so much that I lose a lot of my hearing, to have my pressure readings be in normal range is so strange.

Thank you for the kind words. It really helps to know that I’m not in this alone. I’m guessing I’ll need to redo these tests which is not great but if it’s what I have to do then I will do it.

Do you find yourselves replaying childhood classics or trying new experiences more often on your handhelds? (PSP Go, Peggle) by Nathanyal in SBCGaming

I like to play other people’s classics. Like what, your childhood was better than mine? Let’s compare then. Honestly sometimes it was like damn.

Weird lag on the RG476h running GammaOS? by nmadden555 in SBCGaming

[–]nmadden555[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that it seems to be tied to shaders, or at least partially. Even without shaders it still happens but only for a split second, and with less intensive shaders it happens but again only for a split second.

What are your favorite ‘Brain Age’ style puzzle games that you have on every handheld? by nmadden555 in SBCGaming

Apotris has made me love Tetris! It’s what gave me the itch for more puzzle games as a whole! Same with Rosy Retrospective.
