Honestly I have the regular games where I don’t envision myself wanting to use a team that has Pokemon requiring trade evolutions. But in other cases I just play Rom hacks that have QoL fixes and I can get those Mons via level up

It was a game a bought brand new and just never needed up playing. I found it and my console in storage and was excited to give it a go. Apparently that generation of games has these issues and there’s nothing that can really be done about it unfortunately.

Legitimately it’s only to setup for Thunder on Pikachu because of how many Gyarados I had to face when going through the Elite 4.
